I just finished the third book in the series last week. Your recommendation made me curious about the books. I really enjoyed the series and am looking forward to the latest book.
For some reason this series reminds me of John Marsden's Tomorrow When the War Begin series; probably because it has a female protagonist in a very action oriented plot. I can imagine boys liking these books even though the main character is a girl.
Kudos on getting Mr. Westerfeld for your library event!
I'm glad you liked them...not everyone does. I have to admit, it got slow for me in the second book, but by third I was hooked again.
I confess I never finshed the TWtWB series, just the first few books. I'm not a huge fan of series, to be honest, and I hate waiting for books to come out. But that is one I might go back and listen to straight through if it is on audio.
I got my mom hooked on the series, I admit that I haven't finished it....(uglies) but that is because I was doing summer reding. When does Extras come out? or is it already out? Hey...could you maby e-mail me with your new e-mail address? I have a question or two that I would like to ask you...
It is very easy to get me to share ARCs. Too easy apparently, as I have already passed it on to the librarian who's branch is hosting the event. Sorry!
