Ow my feet

Jun 17, 2006 10:52

I wear flip flops a lot, but they've been given me blisters due to the fact that I walk a lot to get around. I guess we all walk a lot to get around, but in my experience "city living" makes you walk more. So then I switch up the flip flops so I don't get blisters in the same places and thus, my feet look like I've been through, I don't know, a ( Read more... )

So I'm torn between feeling sorry for your blisters, happy that you probably have a lucrative job, and horrified that you let yourself get that drunk in front of people you don't know (who could potentially hurt you when you're vulnerable like that).

Also, not so much with the flip-flop walking around the city stuff.

And put some band-aids on your feet.

And take some ibuprofen.

The other daughter has major techtonic-plate-shifting cramps today, and so she's pretty miserable too. I should open a ward.

But she promised me she'd help me set things up on my LJ so I can post my own stuff, have more pics, and navigate around here so I can check on you more often. 'K? Smooch for the blisters.

I know all the people I got drunk with (work friends, and I've been working there for a good 5 months, just they've all known each other longer).

I've never been ok with getting drunk with people I don't know. There's a trust factor.

Well, if I knew all that I wouldn't have said drunk posting is the best last night!

Jon still loves you. The new job sounds hopefull!

I hate blisters. I'm sure people will understand about the email/voicemail last night. :-)

I am quite hopeful I will make a lot more money at the new job.

It really is such a cushy job.

People look at me funny when I say that I hate flip-flops. This is why. Hope your feet feel better.

And I hope everything works out with the drunken e-mail sitch. Let us know how it turns out.

Meh, I'm always drunk on his voicemail.

Almost 4 years. He should be use to it.

But yes, flip flops! I use to love them, but this whole "walking a couple miles each day" when you live in a city does not mix with flip flops!

Especially on cobblestone. Ow.

Honey!! I'm so sorry--if we had met for bevvies last night, most of that bad stuff wouldn't have happened!!

And don't you know to drunk-dial Keytus instead of, you know, RL people? That's what we're here for!

Soak your feet, buy some moleskin, and get yourself some comfy sandals.

And think about all the money you'll make at your new job. And that we love you.

Smooches.

Hahaha... Yes.

I also lost one of my shoes that I wear to work I bet that wouldn't have happened either. But if we had met I would have been horribly unpresentable in my coffee stained outfit which is why it was only ok to go to an 'after work party'.

And if I started drunk dialled Keytus you'd all never hear the end of it.

I thought of you today when I saw a tshirt that was really cute and said "Don't drink and dial" and had a picture of a phone and a cocktail on it. I almost bought it for you and then i thought that would be pretty weird if I bought you a present.
