I ended up voting for Mal too. He was losing, plus I decided that it only took 13 episodes for me to love him whereas it took Buffy 7 seasons. SO.

Yeah, I think my logic was something similar. Plus, I think my love for Mal has been more consistent. But that may be the lesser number of episodes? Eh, we'll never know. *shakes hand at Fox*

So who do you want to win the whole shebang? Buffy or somebody else? I'm liking the top 8 right now. There are very few who would disappoint me if they won.

Oh Scully? She was part of the duo Mulder and Scully in the tv-series (and movies, I believe?) "The X-Files".
Dean makes reference too that show a few times so far in our/the series.

Ok, two things that might help clarify these shenanigans:
1. The whole "March Madness" thing is a reference to the College Basketball games that take place in March here in the U.S. Believe me, people get really intense about it. It's a championship series of games. So this Fandom March Madness is basically the same sort of race to the Finals.

2. The "death match" / "steel cage death match" thing is just placing the characters in an imaginary fighting (boxing, wrestling, whatever type of fighting) ring, where they're to face off.

Is that what you meant, about not getting it?

I really need to watch some of his show. I've never seen him in action. But I always hear good things.
I've chosen Veronica as my top favorite. But as you see, my heart isn't really set on any one character any more. Oh Dean...
