You had a busy weekend! I like the stormtroopers at the fair. Never heard that one before. But really they misspelled it that badly? Reminds me of being at MediaWest and I almost bought a Doctor Who poster for my kidlet until I saw that they had misspelled Gallifrey. I didn't bother. :)
You've inspired so many writers, Dawn ;) Just thought of more Dawn books :) -- A new dawn, Breaking dawn, Dawn and the impossible three, Defy the dawn, The wrath and the dawn -- And nope, I haven't read any of them :)
Aw, thanks! I actually got my writing name from a book I saw at the library (but did not read) when I was in high school, Dawnwind.
Then there's that movie: Dawn of the Dead. And the song my sister thought was written about me when we were children, "oh, say, can you see, by the Dawn's early light..."
The big prizes looked like frosted donuts. (which were kind of cute, particularly when kids either wore them on their heads like hats, or really thin girls slid them down to their waists like donut tutus) However, the gross, but weirdly popular prize was (no kidding) a lump of brown meant to represent poop. There were hat Mr. Poopys, shirts with the image, and big and little stuffed Mr. Poopys. I just had to gag.

There were even more stormtroopers than I took a picture of--one dirty, one pristine and a third in the snow planet type gear.
