Giving human charachteristics to an object which they aren't normally applicable is called personification. It's a big part of figurative writting. Just thought i'd throw that out there bud.

Pssst...her personification sucks. Figuritive writing is worthless without style or creativity, neither of which does her writing have. I picture a gay anthropomorphic fire doing the ROCAwear behind her while she shakes her ass on it.
