*drumroll* The Return of the Daily Drabble!

Mar 20, 2006 09:56

While warning ann_arien about the dangers of drabble addiction (and, yes, it does exist; I am surprised that the government hasn't started a coalition), digdigil mentioned that she missed the daily drabble. Remember those days? When Dawn Felagund would spam your flists with a drabble every day ( Read more... )

Thank you! :)

I have trouble keeping up with me, you'll learn. That explains why there occasionally comes a "daily drabble" post with a four-part drabble series to make up for the four days I've missed.... ;)

But I'll do my best! :)

YAY!!!!!! <3 Drabble spam!

I like the last line.

And Colorado doesn't know it's supposed to be spring either. It's snowing.

Thank you! :) I shaped the drabble with that line in mind.

I just went outside without a coat and just a sweater, and it was pretty nice. But we're expecting snow showers tomorrow, so.... :^/

Hurry up, Spring.

Ooooh... I've always loved your drabbles, and this one is no exception. Funny enough, without knowing you're about to do this gain, I wrote a spring equinox drabble just yesterday. Spring equinox happens to be one of my favourite days as well. It's still far too cold for the time of the year around here, but at least today we've had sun, and bees, and butterflies. Wheee! *runs away to dust off her sandals*

Oh, and by the way, the drabble can be found here.

I read that! I love it! I read it yesterday while in one of my multitask moods which probably explains how I forgot to comment. :^/

So I am commenting now, albeit in the wrong place: I love it!

I've yet to see bees and butterflies, but I eagerly await their arrival. And I love sandals too...although the general public probably doesn't like having to see my poor deformed skater/hiker/cook's feet. :^P

Yay, Spring!

Don't worry about not commenting, it's really enough to know you like it. :-)

And my feet aren't the prettiest thing either. I usually try to distract from the fact by the means of nicely painted nails, but I'm not so sure if I'm succeeding. :-P

Lol! I do the same thing! I have had blue toenails since I was twelve years old. People often look at my feet and exclaim, "You have blue toenails!"

"Yes," I say, "my feet are very, very cold." :^P

Ah, beautiful! Beautiful! The Daily Drabble is back in full force with a lovely drabble from Dawn in the spirit of Spring! That was as tender as the new shoots rising from the ground, whether in the shadows of trees or not. I can't wait to join in. Give me a little time. I am right in the middle of my next chapter of you-know-what.

Thanks! Make that two (hopfully) lovely drabbles now! And I know what you mean about you-know-what. I have to work on my own contribution for the day. And now Meryth wants to write an LJ entry too. *sigh* Too many muses, too little time! ;)

Okay! I just read the next two. Whoopee! I had the same pervy idea to write a drabble about the same two! (What is it about them anyway? Can they not stay out of any of my stories?)

I love "First Spring". It is sad and tender but hope is there too, just like early spring. And of course I think "Spring in Himring" is the bomb. I mean, we got Dawn to do some slash! Did you see this, Alina? If spring isn't the time for lovin' I don't know what is!

I don't think that they can stay out of your stories! I'm half-expecting that the Felagund/Talban thing you and Alina are doing with end up with Maedhros and Fingon in it somewhere. ;)

Of course, that could just be a warm, friendly embrace. Or more.... ;) I leave it to each reader to decide. (But I think you know what I'm thinking!)

Ha! Ha! Yes, I know! I keep expecting that Maedhros and Fingon will turn up in the Guarded Forest and that one of the RPG characters will trip over them on their way somewhere. Or someone will turn a corner and they'll be slammed up against a wall going at it. Or they'll be in the adjoining room to Felagund and Ciris at the inn and those two will hear them through the wall. (So many possibilities.) BTW, I posted a new entry from Ciris (and also one from Talban earlier today - not in his LJ but in the f-locked one. *ahem*)

Yes, I read them both! Felagund will reply when I break from Tarion's bday present long enough to give him a chance to collect his wits. He knows what he wants to say, he just has to type it.

Then Meryth will write an LJ entry about his first day of initiation.... o.O

Too many muses, too little time!
