Ew, middle schoolers...

Yay for getting a lot of writing done!! I only got my 200 words, but at least it was something. Today was a busy day.

I had to run and hide myself due to your "music", seeing as I am from Texas...

Ew, middle schoolers...

I realized I was old when I heard myself say the following two things, within five minutes of each other:

1) Middle-schoolers in front of us in line are gushing over how *good* a band Jet is. Good pal Harry Potter (a heavy metal fan) rolls his eyes and says, "Do you hear that?" My response: "Their generation doesn't know good music." Because I am soooo much older than they are!

2) Metallica "Enter Sandman" comes on. "Ah," I say, "now *this* is good music."

Next thing you know, I'll be hitting them with my cane and calling them whippersnappers!

I only got my 200 words, but at least it was something.

Hey, that's 200 words more than you would have written if you had done no writing at all! (Yes, you may call me Ms. Obvious ;D)

LOL! I personally was cheering for the Chiefs because Priest Holmes is the running back for my fantasy team, and Felak did not have a good week in fantasy football :(

Uh oh...no good on fantasy football...I was, erm, "rooting" for the Broncos out of self preservation.

LOL! Understandable! I have a feeling this week's fantasy football is in the tank anyway. It's a good thing I enjoyed my one week in first place because I think that's the end of it.

I'm afraid to even go look at the rankings.... :-/

My advice is to take the Elves next time you go ice skating. Not only will they make everyone else's jaw drop with how damned handsome and elegant they are, they're also all big enough that people will get out of their way. Just a thought *grins*

LOL! Yes, my poor husband has already circled the rink many times with me, listening to me go on and on and on about how I think Maedhros would make a decent hockey player.

"But you said Maedhros would be a good football receiver!" he said.

Sigh. "Okay, Macalaure can play hockey then."

Husband makes derisive-laughing-sound. "Yeah, he'd stop the game to sing a song."

Really, it's no wonder that Bobby never wants to skate with me! ;D

WEEKEND UPDATE digdigil September 27 2005, 15:36:19 UTC
What a great weekend update this was! Do you think you could do it every weekend? LOL! My balls won't drop for five years!

I've been on the Beltway before! It was in rush hour *shudder* and on our way to Florida. We really timed that wrong! Never again!

We love Hallowe'en too! I dress up my painting easel every year with a zombie head mask and black sheets and plant it outside the front door. Little kids are actually afraid to come up to it! The mask was one of those really, really good ones that cost about $50. Ed has one too. It's of Michael Myers and is SOOOO! realistic!!

Oh, yay! Maitimo is thinking about getting laid?

All right! I haven't been pervy in a while now! I need my sex fic fix!

And I agree that Mai would make a great wide receiver! He might even give my Randy Moss a run for his money! Btw, I love Priest Holmes! Did he used to play for Buffalo? Didn't Jim Jarmusch play for the Bills also?

If all of my weekends are as exciting as this one, I probably will! :D

We really timed that wrong! Never again!

There are parts of both the Baltimore and Capital Beltways that, unless you drive through in the middle of the night (and even then, if you are lucky to observe Maryland's Famous Ne'erending Roadwork™) always have traffic. The Maryland interstate system is just mucked up in general!

I'm thinking Irmo/Este.... ;)

Hmmm...I don't know. I know that--before the Chiefs--Priest played for Baltimore because he was our RB the year we won the Superbowl and is credited, to a certain extent, with "training" Jamal Lewis.

As for his history before that, I don't know. I feel like we drafted him, but I didn't like football then, so I don't trust me very much! :D
