Meaning I got my teaching certificate in the mail today from West Virginia! I was so happy that I made a high-pitched keening sound and kissed the paper. Hopefully the people who touched it before me were conscientious about handwashing. Oh, what a long, strange trip it's been. I look back to when I started this journey, and it's already faded into

Yay! Yay! Yay! What a relief.

Now I am wondering if I should worry about hurricanes or snow storms! Dear god, no!!!! My life is a complete and utter shambles at the moment in all relevant practical areas. You are a lot to the south me. Hopefully not. I guess I should look at the weather. In the hot weather I look at it five times a day at least. This time of year, not at all.

Thank you, Jenni! It's been a journey, to be sure.

I'm hoping the hurricane goes out to sea too, and any snowfall is minimal. We had a snowstorm around Halloween last year (6 inches in Manchester, which ended up being the most we got all year), and the damage to the trees, most of which are still fully leafed, was considerable. Our area just can't deal with snow that early.
