Caught by the Weekend!

Bobby and I had a really fun weekend. We went to the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire on Saturday to see Albannach. On Sunday, we went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival to see the Medieaval Baebes. (And I got to meet fegie, who is now one of four online friends who can confirm that I really am a dorky twentysomething and not a dirty old man

Were the Mediaeval Babes good? I have a couple of their CD's and have heard them in the background at an event, but never really properly.

The Medieaval Baebes were awesome! And ... they were selling their new CD at the festival before it is available elsewhere. *squee!* Are you familiar with their music? Regardless, I highly recommend the new album; Bobby and I have been playing it nearly non-stop for the past few days.

They are definitely worth hearing up close. For their second set, I skipped the joust to save seats and got us in the second row. (Hey, they are the Medieaval Baebes; I figured Bobby deserved a just reward for putting up with my almost exclusively male cast of Elves. ;)

As for the internet, I remember feeling so irritable when I was waiting for the DSL company to install connection to my apartment that I kept calling them. But then I gather that you have better impulse control than me. ;-)
