She's not surprised to see him, but she is surprised to hear him say that. She puts her briefcase down and goes over to sit beside him, staring at whatever show he has on for a long moment.

He isn't really watching the TV. But he isn't looking at her either.

She can tell something's wrong, but she's never been one to push. Instead she touches his knee, then stands again.

"Sure. I'll go pack."
