We're adopting a cat!

Many thanks to tamidon whose friend adopted two cats who do not get along and to bethr who alerted me to tamidon's el jay post. This evening I'm driving to the breeder in NJ (about an hour west of us) to get Chuny, who is a male Peterbald (a recent breed--a cross between a Don Sphinx and an Oriental--that is good for allergy sufferers). Today I'll buy kitty litter

Get him groomed monthly. It helps me so much. I am allergic to both dogs and cats, and grooming removes the things that causes allergies. I hope it works out. I am pulling for you.

Thanks, Ilene. Because of heavy rush hour traffic we postponed getting him; we'll drive to the breeder in Lake Hopatcong, NJ this morning.

My brother and sister-in-law who are driving in from Binghamton volunteered to stop there and pick up the cat for us.
