Do not pay attention to an artist who purports to have accomplished what they intended, who seems to have their shit together, because they are irreflective of life.

saw Scanner Darkly today. awesome film. it discusses the same thing. some people prove that it is far easier to act like you've done something than to actually do it.

like me. dave, to be honest with you...i never ran a satyr ranch. i just made that up to sound exciting.

It's true--no artist could ever accomplish what they intend to--it would be next-to-impossible and even if they did, what then? Where do you go from there?
Sigh. It's kind of a nice pipe-dream, though...
