It looks like summer didn't stay It is colder and overcast, and the threat of showers again. Where is the sunshine? It should be sunny now that Labour has ousted that moribund lot. Conservatism is dead in the water for now

I agree with you about the USA. But, I think Republicans should oust their candidate as well, Trump is a convicted felon, among his few accomplishments, and shouldn't be eligible to run.

I totally agree there. I do not know how he is still running being a convicted felon, and so on.

Unfortunately our rather frayed and dated Constitution really only describes two qualifications to run for President of the United States: 35 years of age (IIRC) and natural-born citizen. No disqualification if a convicted felon. There is one other possible restriction from one of the Civil War-era amendments that can prohibit a convicted seditionist from holding elected office, and that successfully barred a person here in New Mexico from office, but Trumplestiltskin has not yet been convicted of that particular crime.

I agree he should be punted from the Republican ticket, but his base owns the party now, and that's unlikely to happen.

I still stand behind President Biden.
As some people are starting to say, After one bad debate everybody is demanding that President Biden step down, but Orange is a convicted criminal, sex offender, etc, and nobody is demanding that he step down.
I hate when people blame the media for everything wrong in this country, but in this case, if Orange becomes our first Dictator, the media shoulders a huge portion of the blame. :o :o :o
