Do they grow hops around there? Whenever I buy hops for home brew, they tend to come from Germany or the Czech Republic.

Kent is known for its hop fields and hop picking.

Yes locally and brewed by Sheps here in town. We have Kent Goldings and Fuggles varieties. Some days as you walk into town you can smell the hops being brewed and turned into beer.
