What are the sounds of summer to you? A multitude of birds singing, bees buzzing, mowers, thunderstorms...

What are the tastes of summer to you? Fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden. Gelato. Sweet iced tea.

When was the last time you went on a picnic? That was long ago, I think in Mannheim years ago.

What is your favourite summer music? I don't know, I don't listen to much music and don't have any seasonal preferences.

Did you enjoy summer as a kid? Oh yes. :)

Yes. I loved staying up all night reading and then not getting up until 9 or 10 AM. I was a boring kid.

sounds of summer - the water - it's right here but in summer i can have the windows open - especially at night - the water /wind/moonlight
birds - i miss the osprey - they no longer nest on the markers - the coast guard destroyed the nest

tastes -melon - corn - peaches
corn fritters with maple syrup and bacon

picnic - we don't - we have it all on our porch

a kid - Bliss!!! - fields with wild flowers - picking wild berries - the little stream in back - catching frogs in my hand ( and letting them go) - the river further back through the woods - endless sunshine - the sound of birds at twilight and the smell of cool coming from the woods - it was a world apart untouched

nothing specifically summer that i can think of, but maybe thunderstorms when i lived in Oklahoma, birds still nesting or with adolescents following them around begging, waves when i would visit family on the coast, lawn mowers especially around here (Georgia)

can't remember. probably decades. haven't been on many. bugs + food = bad for me.

nothing specific. i guess it makes me stereotypically think of things like the Beach Boys.

yes, very much, although i think winter was my favorite mostly due to holidays and my birthday, and now spring is. summer's too hot!! 🥵
