Tonight I Listened To ....

This evening, apart from watching Mastermind, i listened to some of my recent CD purchases.

The first one was the Mike Butterfield, Al Kooper and Stephen Stills CD Super Sessions. An excellent  blues and jazz drenched rock album with a superb eleven minute version of Season Of The Witch.

I then listened to a Tom Petty CD called Wildflower ,which

Stephen Stills had so much talent once, and pissed so much of it away...

I did love Wildflowers. Good mix of songs on that album.

Stupid question, is Hummel related to the Hummels that make the cute little figurines?

Hummel was an Austrian composer. I have uploaded his Third Piano Concerto onto LJ today. The Hummel figurines first appeared in the 1930's in Germany.

I would have thought them much older.
