Y'know... The Pistons were having that same problem during their recent championship run. A good, solid team, but nobody who stood out; no Shaqs, Kobes, or LeBrons. So little to no coverage outside of the state. I think that even though they made it to the finals the season before last, they weren't even pegged to go to the playoffs this past season. (They did, then choked, which is a topic for an entirely different post.)
Just no love for the Motown teams, I guess. You ever read the Fark comments when a post is made about a Detroit team? Pathetic.
