Do the black clothes at least look nice? Because then I see no problem.
But if they're gross and worn out and generally unattractive, well yeah...
I understand the want to be appreciated more for your personality, but there more often than not has to be that initial spark you know? Wearing crappy clothes is sort of in the same vein as not showering because you think people shouldn't care because they should appreciate you for what you are on the inside.

PS none of that applies to you because you have a voice that could crush rocks and break hearts and you could get any woman to be yours just by talking about snail dongs

I like to think they look nice; I routinely throw out those which end up looking less-than-nice (such as, but not limited to, those whose thigh-holes have become too glaringly obvious). Indeed, I've lately been upgrading my summer wardrobe with some black leather hush puppies and button-up shirts.

And I see what you're saying about hygiene, of course; it's a difference between the nature and the quality of one's charm, basically.

PS: At some point you're just going to have to break down and send me some nudes so as to convince me to have phone sex with you. I know you want to have my voice's babies.

People are always trying to convince me to change myself, too - I've got long hair which is always in a pony-tail, which people tell me I aught to cut, but I've grown it for nine years now, so it's a part of who I am and in more than the literal, it's-my-fucking-hair kind of way.

Same goes with my style of clothes, which I really had none until now, but I went through a long phase of black on black on black which I got over (not to suggest your style is a phase, no, black is such a simple colour (well, lack of colour) to match with!), now favouring simple, dark or just plain colours colours - mainly blacks, dark or light blues, browns, greys or greens etc. Trying to get more into the.. I don't know what it's called. Kinda business casual or something. I own a heap of suits, and want more waistcoats and such. Peacoats, scarves, fingerless gloves, Chuck Taylor shoes.

Just a matter of keeping my blooming waistline in check so I don't have to frequently buy new pants.

I've missed your posts, man! They're way too infrequent these days.

More power to you! I've gone half my life without a haircut, though I shampoo, condition and brush my hair religiously (which is to say as a response to my abject, bed-wetting terror of retribution from an all-loving monster in the sky).

You'll be seeing more posts in the near future; I'm building up a bit of a backlog of material right now, to stagger throughout the upcoming days, and a whole shit-ton of new stuff throughout the summer; I've met with seven models about body painting sets in the last four days, and have plans to meet with... fuck, I've lost track. Another twelve or so in the next week. This is going to be my most cockpunchingly body-painting-rich summer ever.

but i believe the suggestion came from a place of love! in any case, i do know it's not a critique on who you are; it has more to do with friends trying to help you put your best foot forward.

I also see this point in another perspective.
