He apparently left a note, declaring war on the police.

What a stinker.

Oh, yeah. I don't use the words "bizarre" and "insane" to describe him inadvisedly. The kid is obviously a crook.

But let's be glad that this is a bit of hyperbole and that he has yet to take any actions against the police beyond merely avoiding them, and hope this remains the case.

The story obviously becomes abruptly a lot less charming the moment he actually starts actively trying to hurt people.

Neat-o! I will definitely give this a thorough look. My friend BJ (who you may have met; he was Jason's best friend before Jason cut him loose because he saw that BJ was becoming a closer friend to me than he was to Jason) would absolutely adore this.

I had a quick look at it, and though I do like the tone of it, the front page was dominated by recent cryonics-related stuff, which I'm not quite on-board for and which I doubt is really the meat of what attracted your interest.

Can you suggest a post or two that are more in keeping with what you're into here?

Does humankind look pretty alright to you? Do you glance at todays youth and think "Well, our world sure is in good hands with these guys around"?

Get a triple-injection of reality with Fanboy Friday on Destructoid and lose your faith in humanity now! THRILL as it dawns on you that nobody spends more than microsecond making sure anything they write is coherent! GASP at the rampant, completely uncalled for profanity used to substitute any actual kind of argument! SWOON as you learn that 0.1 differences in review scores is CLEAR, INFALLIBLE EVIDENCE of failing consoles!

Here's how you do it:
1. Click on link to Fanboy Friday Feature.
2. Choose an article. Any article.
3. Read through it or watch the cringe-worthy videos.
4. Repeat 2-3 until your head meets your desk, then you should probably take a break.

I just finished reading this one:

http://www.destructoid.com/fanboy-friday-f-cktarted-2-152147.phtml

And it was almost physically painful to behold. The list of cleverly re-named PS3 games mid-way through was a real bellweather, it seems to me, for the state of the entire debate.

Goodness! I just got a PS3 a few weeks ago, and while I had previously had no real interest in seeking out user reviews to inform my game purchases, this makes me actively horrified of the prospect of ever needing to do so...!

Oh yes. Fanboys are notorious for ruining fun for everyone who ever communicates with them.

I must admit, though, "Call Girls on Duty" got me the laugh.

That kid has some serious talent and/or luck. They need to see about what job they can convince him to do, because there has to be something he can do. Something for the military? Testing security systems? Crash testing small planes? I really don't know, but there has to be something that fits with his skill set.

Well, I haven't gotten as much exploring done recently, so lets just go for the weirdest thing I've found in the last while. That would be Woolly Hooves: the Invincible Llama Sim. It's one half breeding game, one half RPG, and it's kind of strange. You and your invincible llama fight against evil, and can convince wild regular llamas to join your herd as you go. It doesn't take itself seriously in the slightest, which is always nice. woolly-hooves.com

I swear when I was writing this earlier this morning, I thought of something else I could offer up, but I had to go to class and now I've forgotten. Stupid 8am classes.

I laughed out loud at "crashing small planes" there. Well-done.

Yeah, I would like to think that the kid could find some sort of niche, but I suspect that his criminal record and obviously-messed-up formative years will so haunt him as to prevent that from ever taking place.

I'll give that game a look. I suspect my friend Colin will get a hoot out of it as well. Though my recent acquisition of a Playstation 3 has me rather awash in new games...
