Day Eleven - Strange Happenings
Who: Lily, James

Summary: Lily seeks out James after the game, and finds him in the cafeteria. She joins him for lunch and informs him of her "adventure" the night prior with the invader. James is properly concerned and alarmed, which only serves to drive home how unconcerned and unalarmed Severus had been, which puts Lily in an off mood.
She and James opt to go shopping after she admits who she has to buy for. When he slyly attempts to find out where Severus' room is, Lily doesn't raise her usual protest to whatever James might be up to.
Once they reach the shopping center, Lily realizes if they're going to buy gifts for each other, they should split up - so they do, after planning to meet at his room later that evening.
The game had been ... fun. Interesting, anyway. She wasn't honestly sure who had won, but in the end, she wasn't sure it really mattered. Everyone had had fun. And gotten sweaty.
She'd taken a shower afterward before heading down to lunch, wondering if she'd manage to dodge the worst of James and his friends. She really wasn't in a mood to hang out with that particular crowd. She'd rather talk to James one on one, to apologize for not showing up last night - and to tell him why.
She hadn't really had a chance to elaborate.
There was a bit of irritation that Severus hadn't ... well, checked on her, but she hadn't really expected it. Not truly. But he had known what had happened to her, and he hadn't said anything.
Sighing quietly, Lily peered into the cafeteria to see who was inside. If she wasn't inclined to hang out with the folk she spied, she thought she'd go head to the business district and find some lunch there.
