Caleb decided if he was here, he may as well get to know those around him. Aside from Chase and Pepper, he hadn't really met anyone yet, so he decided to head to a place that seemed likely to draw a few other people. Mostly people that weren't Chase, because as much good as a familiar face one, he still didn't trust the guy so far as he could throw him.

Sauntering into the lounge, he spotted the girl on The Couch and held up his hand in a small wave before seating himself in one of the chairs.

"Hey," he offered, "how's it going?"

So far, so good.

Morgan hesitated. Was he talking to her? A quick glance around showed she was the only one present, so she nodded slightly. "I'm okay," she said quickly. Maybe a little too quickly. "How ... how are you?"

Her face scrunched up slightly. Returning pleasantries - well, really, pleasantries in general - was all new territory to her, and she was waiting for someone to call her on it, to punish her for ... what, responding to them?

It wasn't like it would be the first time.

She seemed a little jumpy, and Caleb tried to put on his most non-threatening demeanour. Not that he had a particularly threatening one, but his temper did flare on occasion.

"Good," he replied amiably enough, "Still getting settled in. This place is something else, right?"

He smiled a little in an effort not to scare her off.

"It's colorful," she said. She meant that literally - not the way some people would use 'colorful' to describe someone's string of expletive language - but she supposed it could be taken either way.

"You're new here?" she asked him softly. She wondered if he was as new - or newer - than she was.
