A couple of people have linked to the leaked Spider-Man 3 trailer, but now the official one is up at Apple's page and is much better quality. OMG it looks so good. I can't wait to see if they pull this off. Sam Raimi is the best thing since ever

My tried-and-true fallback for fun, mindless chick lit is always Meg Cabot. Her style can get a little gimmicky (e.g., The Princess Diaries are all, obviously, in diary form, The Boy Next Door is all emails, etc.), but her books are always so CUTE that I can't put 'em down.

omg of my favorite chick lit writers is jane green. she's british, so some of the britishisms apply, but oh, Mr Maybe and Babyville are two of my favorite books ever. Also, Tracey loves Marion Keyes, I think her name is? so she might have some recs for you from her.

whatever you do, do NOT read ANY of the sophie kinsella 'shopaholic' books. dear GOD, never have I wanted to slap a bitch more than the chick in those books. GOD.
