Okay Amestris, time for a roll call. As some of you have probably noticed, we have a bunch of spectral visitors aboard. Of the uninvited kind. So how many of you can see or sense spirits? Only that various people have magical abilities to interact with them. My concern is that this might be another deliberate sabotage attempt.

My best guess for cause would be a magical artifact on board, a Lunasa present with unknown properties or something someone planted deliberately.

I see. At least that's reasonably helpful in dealing with them, I suppose... are any of them able to communicate with the spirits?

Of course, you're right. We can't rule out sabotage... a magical artifact may explain it. Though, if it were a Lunasa present or a plant, wouldn't it have begun to attract these things earlier?

Some things only get activated after you do something to them. Open the box, rub the crystal, say the magic word. Objects can be enscrolled to activate after a certain time, or by a remote device. It gets more complicated when magitech is involved, but magical stuff is not my expertise.

Some people say they can, yes, though we should consider it's also possible for spirits to lie or be deceived themselves. Would you like to question one of them with me if you were able?

Most spirits stay in this vibe, because of unfinished business aren't they? So...well if we have enough people that can see spirits, you could ask the diplomats to talk to the more benevolent ones.

[A lengthy pause, you might actually hear him drinking his coffee.]

I can see them, though not clearly. But even with magic, I do not seem to be able to harm them. Not effectively, at any rate.
