Part of my problem was that I wanted to laugh about it with people here, but I wasn't 100% sure that anyone I chose would actually get it. I ended up sending it to my old boss and he didn't disappoint me, thankfully.

Funny enough, I wad having a conversation with some others on my team, and the topic of evaluations came up. We were all in agreement that it was much better to be a consultant. No need to deal with crap like this.

I agree. I really hate having to do them.

It was hard for me a few years ago when the person I worked with very intensely for that year was a contractor and I couldn't have him do mine.
