I suppose it was too much to hope for, that I'd be able to stay neutral throughout this entire affair. Still, if I had to be drafted by anyone, I'm glad it was the Republic. Gladder still, that Ad - ah, Captain Saffron is going to be the one overseeing the Outworlders. [a faint smile]

I didn't recieve a summons for the draft. I wouldn't have gone even if I had. Flynn did, however, and Axel. Flynn and I will be heading out of Republic space. [He wouldn't have let Flynn go, anyway.]

I...don't know about Axel. He seems to want to go. Thinks...it will do me good to see him drafted and returned safe...or something. [The curl of his lip illustrates how he views that theory...]

I suppose the fact that I lied on my form is the reason why I wasn't drafted. But I don't think I'm the right fit to lead the Alliance.
