[Locked to 'friends']

[Lion-O's transmitting from his workplace, within the stacks of large storage containers, in the warehouse belonging to the droid merchant.]

Were any of you conscripted? I- [His lips press together. He's uncertain what he thinks about the news of the draft.] I didn't get the notice.

That could be a good idea... I'm glad it didn't get razed.

Yeah, Meetra said they could use the help. And, as much as I love tech, I wouldn't mind seeing trees, again.

Do you know what you'll do?

I've only ever seen the trees they have in parks, here. [Said trees are usually smaller and hooked up to hydroponic rigs.]

I don't know yet.

[Lion-O is vaguely aware of those excuses for trees.]

I mean real trees, with branches you can walk along, and a canopy of leaves.

If I do go to Ithor, I'm sure you could come along. Probably the spukami, too.

Walk on branches? Wouldn't they break? They're plants.

I'd like that. Maybe they would... I'd worry about them getting lost. I almost feel like I should stay, but I don't know.

They don't have forests where you're from? [It's somewhat rhetorical, as Lion-O figures Luke wouldn't ask the question, if they'd seen the same trees.]

The trees here, they aren't like in a forest. Maybe Ithor forests are different, but on Third Earth, there are trees old enough that the trunks and branches grow massive. The fibers in the branches are still green, so they have give, but they won't break.

It could be fun. They're supposed to be smart animals, so I'm sure they'd return, eventually.

I guess it depends what your other friends here might decide.

I'm from Tatooine. It's all desert.

...Weird. They say Kashyyk's like that, but the trees there are kilometers high and kind of unusual.

Most of them are going. I'm not sure. What if I'm supposed to be here, like it's something the Force wants?

Third Earth has desert, too, and the Sand Sea. [With Jabba's sail barge Captain Tunar's ship.] But, Kashyyk sounds like it has some big trees.

[He turns thoughtful.] That's what I've been wondering. Back home, I had a clear mission, and I could see the next goal. But, even getting better at seeing through the Force, here, things aren't always clear.

Huh. I live at the edge of the Dune Sea... And yeah, some of the biggest!

Yeah...

If you want to go, you should go, though.

I do, right now. But, if this is going to lead to fellow Outworlders getting hurt or forced into some impossible choice; I feel like I should help them, too.

Maybe you can do both. I mean, you could stick around for a few days and then go, when they're all gone one way or another.

That's a good idea. I need some time to see if a ship will be available, or find a commercial flight, anyway.

Maybe I'll have the droid caller ready by then.

Great. I still want to get to test it out!
