[Locked to 'friends']

[Lion-O's transmitting from his workplace, within the stacks of large storage containers, in the warehouse belonging to the droid merchant.]

Were any of you conscripted? I- [His lips press together. He's uncertain what he thinks about the news of the draft.] I didn't get the notice.

[He rolls his head, as if to be rid of a crick, then sighs.] I don't know if I want to know why. I filled out that form, but I also said the war was "A political and ideological conflict in which no side is wholly righteous". It's enough I've got my own war at home, right? [He laughs humorlessly.] But, that doesn't mean I feel like watching this one from a balcony.

[He looks up, attempting a smile.] I'm thinking of going to Ithor. I talked to a few others about it. They still need help recovering from the battle there. It feels like it's right, but I can't quite see the path clearly.

There may be other fronts where help is needed, like Serpindal.

[to Lily] We're allies, now, so let me know if you need me.

[to Kaylee] Did any of the crew get drafted? I didn't hear anything about conscripting ships.

[to Cheetara] I have a feeling you'll follow me into trouble again, no matter what I decide. That doesn't mean you can't still protest.

[ooc: Generally, any player character he's talked to, Lion-O supposes to be his friend. I'm OK with this getting to friends of friends as well.]
