[Dean's probably in the middle of painting crosses on the walls of the Enterprise panic room when he hears his datapad beep and goes over to see who it is, hitting the button with his pinkie, to try to keep from spattering paint all over the screen.
He nearly knocks the bucket of it over when he sees what's there, waiting for him. No name, no ID, no anything: just a set of numbers, that might be meaningless, considering they were all zeroes, if Dean hadn't learned that particular set of coordinates well as a would-be starship captain.
The Galactic Coordinates for Coruscant herself.]
... Dad. [It sounds impossible - but at the same time, not. Dad was here before, why couldn't he show up now? Especially with Ellen and Ash just coming around... His heart's in his throat as he wipes his hands off as rapidly as he can on a rag, so that he can try to send out a reply]
dad? if thats you, we're on coruscant right now. where can we find you?
[He pushes send, then immediately feels like that message wasn't good enough and kicks
( ... )
[Oh great, this is going to be a tension filled time where Dean snaps at everyone for anything. She can't wait. Hoping to calm him down some, she reaches out to put her hand on Dean's shoulder.]
John'll probably be pretty pissed if that happens, but we can deal with that once he's here. It's not like you guys can search all of Coruscant in one night, so letting Cas take a stab at finding him is your best bet right now.
[ it's always nice feeling useful. and cas, unlike dean, can search all of coruscant in one night. it's one of those nifty new tricks he got with that upgrade chuck saw fit to hand him.
[Dean's still hesitant, because of the exact reason Jo said: his dad's likely to be pissed off as hell if they have a freaking angel kidnap him from wherever he's at. Dean would almost rather just play his father's game, let the man have things on his own terms, to put him in a better mood for the reunion.
But he's worried about the guy too, and outnumbered on this issue 3 to 1]
... Fine. But try not to pop in on him the way you... [he waves a hand over his shoulder] do that thing. [He glances down at Jo, forehead furrowed]
[Sam ... really doesn't care about John being pissed off. Mostly because Sam's pissed off already. But if Cas was going to get him here faster, the sooner Sam could yell at him.
... Not that Sam was planning to do that.
At all.
The narration should stop before she gets Sam in even more trouble.]
[She tries to give Dean as sympathetic look as possible, but it's hard to ignore the fact that she's nervous about John Winchester popping back into her life. Especially now that her mom is around.]
He'll probably just be happy to see you guys again, no matter how he has to get here. [Because that's the way a dad works, right?]
[ castiel's experience with fathers doesn't really...back up jo's statement, but he doesn't say anything. just vanishes. and when he comes back he'll probably have john in hand SO HERE WE WAIT FOR THE REVISUALIZATION OF CAS OR A JOHN TAG. ]
[She softly reminds them, shrugging a little. She's trying to place the John she knew in line with the John that Sam and Dean knew. She never would have thought he'd do this to his own kids, but she guesses that there's a lot more to John Winchester than the side she saw as a kid.]
Cas should be able to find us anywhere. You wanna head out and look around for him, just in case? [She sees that bitchface, Dean. She knows you're not going to be able to just stand around and wait.]
[And he's relieved that Jo's the one to suggest it, and save him from looking like the over eager beaver that he is] Can't see how it'd hurt. Who knows what this place does to angel mojo? Might wreak havoc with the GPS or whatever.
[He raps the wall twice decisively and then starts towards the ramp] C'mon.
Blocked? What'dya mean bl-- [Dean grinds to a halt, surprise flicking over his features, before it gives way to understanding. He shakes his head slightly, a tired chuckle escaping his throat] 'Course you are. [He raises both brows pointedly at Sam] Dad might've seen we've got an angel around, on the network. Probably taken his own precautions already.

Depends. On what he's doin' right now. How long he's been here.
[... what he wanted from them. It might not be as simple as a family reunion. Was it ever?
He glances over at Sam] Not sure if he'll remember the last time he was here or not.

John is watching the Enterprise from a viewport in a nearby building.
John has an Ysalamir on a branch beside him. Sorry, Cas. No force-angel-warping today.

[Sam's tone indicates just how ridiculous he thinks that is. Never mind that he knows a few of his own, and he's got them tattooed all over his ribs]
