Dawn?! [ As shit starts getting real, Buffy beelines for her sister and wraps an arm protectively around her, glancing back at the others. ] We need to get outside and do something about these tentacles, before this thing turns the food chain upside down and makes us the filets.

[ he thinks. thinking. he has to be useful. ] Also, anyone ever think, huh, can't we have a vacation or a holiday or, I don't know a birthday where we don't get stuck inside your house, you don't lose your powers and a Kraken DOESN'T attack? [Spike shoots Xander an annoyed look.] Glad we've got you for helpful commentary. [His lightsaber's already in his hand, though he hasn't turned it on yet. He looks around and scowls at the door.] There's got to be a way we can get out without sinking the bloody thing, right?

[The tentacle action propelled Dean forward, and he hits the railing with a loud oof, grabbing hold of it tightly. His eyes bug out as he sees the huge suckered appendage flailing around] Oh you have got to be fucking with me.

[He looks over his shoulder, barking orders at the gaping civilians] Get your asses below deck! Pronto! [One young female Mon Cal is still standing there, gaping, and he makes his way towards her, a little bit wobbly as the deck sways, and grabs her by the wrist, yanking her towards the steps] NOW!

[He glances back towards the door of the cockpit, looking around as he yanks his blaster off his belt and bellows for his bro:] SAM?
