He's gone. [Yeah, she's trying really hard to be a man about this, but the fact remains that it hurts.]

He...he left a note. I don't think he's planning on coming back, at least not to see me.

He had enough forewarning to leave a note? [her voice cracks on the last word. Why...didn't she get one?]

When you say gone, what do you mean, exactly?

When I came back, I found a note from him in my room. It made it sound like he was just leaving me, but I'm guessing something happened and he ended up being taken away entirely. [She doesn't want Lily to think Sirius didn't think of her, when she's sure that's not the case.]

[She nods, looking away from the camera so that Jo doesn't see the way her faces screws up] I'm going to go and set a few things on fire now, I think.

Jo said he'd gone. I didn't know you two were friends, I would have -- [ frown. ] Lily, I'm sorry.

He - he's from my future. And my present, technically, but the age he is now, he's from my future. [she rubs her forehead, and when she speaks again, her voice is quiet] If he's gone back home, he's dead.

... And suddenly, "sorry" doesn't even seem to begin to cover it.

[She looks up, startled] No, it - it's fine, honestly. I...perhaps he'll come back. Or I'll go back, and make sure he doesn't end up that way. [she blinks once or twice, fast] Not that we're even allowed to remember anything that happens here. I'll find a way.

[Lily 8( Anders clears his throat.] He might be back? Will be back. Optimism does wonders.

... Oh sod it, want to see me light something inanimate on fire? That tends to cheer some people up at the very least.

[She draws a tired laugh from her] Now there's an idea. I don't think I've actually practised setting anything on fire, as of yet. Just heating it up. [Her fingers move, and blobs of melted metal swim by the camera in mid air]

I happen to be very good at setting things on fire, it's one of my many charming qualities. [He pauses.] Tell you what, let's find a place to practice, hm? I can see if I can teach you a proper fireball- it's extremely useful, and fun! And distracting from all the nonsense this month has thrown around.

[She pauses for a moment, before something in her countenance picks up; she straightens slightly, looks immediately more engaged in the conversation. If there's one thing that's guaranteed to cheer Lily Evans up, it's the promise of learning new magic] Are you certain? I've mostly just been fumbling around on my own since I left the Jedi, I haven't really - that would be wonderful, Anders, thank you.

I...wouldn't bother, to be honest. From what I understand, he's probably been dragged home. [to die :'D] I appreciate the offer, but I'll be fine. Anders is going to teach me how to throw fireballs at inanimate objects.

I do! So there. [She seems to have picked up a bit at the prospect of learning new magic] To be quite honest, I find almost any magic quite therapeutic. Learning something new is in the nature of a cherry on top, really.

I - if there's anything the past few weeks have proven to me, it's that trying to take on everything involved in the Caterpillar Alliance is incredibly stupid, and also that if something were to happen to me - of a more permanent nature than dying - I don't want the same thing to happen as it did when Hatter died. Left. It was a mess trying to figure out all the details.

And...you know that I'm Force-bonded to Isolde. Ever since she's been in a coma, it's been rather like someone's cut off a limb. I keep reaching out, only to remember that it's gone. It's unsettling, and I don't think it's doing any favours for my mental state, if I'm honest. Which I think I ought to be. Essentially, what I'm saying is that you're the only one I really trust to know everything and help me run and organise everything, because I don't think it's a very good idea for me to be doing that on my own right now. The Alliance is too important for me to risk it getting caught up in my own issues. [It was really
