Shit. [Hawke winces, pressing a hand to her ribs and following the sound of the datapad. She finds it, and Shiori's inert form soon after] Hey. I don't know if you can hear me, but this is Hawke, your piss-poor excuse for a guard, and I'm going to get you out of here, all right? [The possibility exists that the woman is dead, of course, but Hawke has always been a fan of daring to hope in hopeless situations. She sets to clearing the debris as carefully and quickly as she can]

[Shiori stirs, moving her head almost sleepily. She squints in the smoke eyebrows furrowed in confusion.] Ugh...I...

[As more debris is removed, it becomes clearer and clearer that Shiori's legs are ruined beyond repair. Shiori moans, first in confusion and then in pain, as she herself realizes that fact.]
