In the last thrilling update Catherine gave birth to twins Alice and Lorena. Lewis was a little highly strung and Oscar grew up into a crazy little boy. Henry developed an odd habit of walking in on Bilbo's showers and Darcy remained oblivious to everything.
Onwards!
I had Bilbo give Dickens a young again potion. This might continue forever until the legacy is over because frankly I hate it when pets die way too much. When the last generation is born...then he has my permission to die.
Excellent.
Oscar is always scowling, which of course I find absolutely wonderful. For a sim without the grumpy trait he really is grumpy.
The twins aged up. Here is Lorena, how has her mother's complexion entirely.
And Alice, who is the first child to inherit Bilbo's eye colour.
"It's the first day of school so you guys have to stay quiet. I don't want you embarrassing me in front of the other kids."
"But if you guys stay quiet who will I talk to when Lewis says something stupid? I do not like school."
Lewis always looks on fondly when his younger brother starts talking to himself whereas the rest of the family get a little creeped out.
Alice is a vocal one. So far she seems to be more dominant than Lorena.
She's crying because she's tired by the way. She's impossible.
Finally.
Please be careful Henry.
Life continues on. Oscar continues to win my heart.
"Hey Oz, what's the answer for question 5?"
"The chair says seven"
"The chair can't talk Oz"
"...really"
"Don't listen to Lewis, his ears are filled with dust bunnies. Tell me your secrets magic chair so that I may pass algebra."
At this point my game was lagging to the point where it was unbearable to play so I moved the Dashwood's again to a town that has always run perfectly for me. Lucky Palms. When Catherine told Darcy they were moving to a hotbed of gambling and infidelity it took Henry hours of coaxing just to get her to move from her spot on the sofa.
I also started using a different image size for some reason.
The Dashwood's have a cow plant now. Oscar is the only one stupid brave enough to interact with it though.
"I'm going to call you Andy and we are going to be best friends."
Bilbo is yet again concerned about Oz's behaviour but is too scared to go over to Andy so he just frets from a safe distance.
As long as Oscar can play peek-a-boo I don't think Alice cares too much about Andy.
Lewis who is usually a very serious child took a moment to cool off from the desert heat and try out the new slip'n'slide.
It was a success.
Side note: The paparazzi are far more stylish here.
House tour. On the ground floor we have the kitchen and dining area, laundry room, two double bedrooms, one with en suite. There's also the living room, nursery and the kids room. I'm making the most of the bunk beds that came with generations.
Up the outside stairway we have a sort of roof garden with a bar, BBQ, seating and easel.
There's also a pool and one car garage. It's lovely.
"Grandmama, the royal court demands grilled cheese!"
"Of course King Lewis, I will see what cook can do. But remember, even kings say please to their grandmothers."
"Oh, right, sorry grandma"
"As sovereign of the kitchen, I, King Lewis of the Dashing Wood Realm decree that bedtime will be pushed back to 9!"
"Bard! I demand a song!"
"Of course your majesty"
"That's quite enough singing bard."
"Look unto me! I possess the Ragged Crown! I have seen the top of the mountain, and you will worship me as though I were a god!"
As of late, Lewis has developed a slight ego. Catherine doesn't help by acting out different members of court.
Alice has been less bratty since the move, but that might be because she's still exploring the new nursery.
The Dashwood's love their grilled cheese.
I'll end with a shot of Dickens having a nap. Hopefully I'll be able to get out some more interesting updates as I can finally play my game without it crashing. Seriously. While trying to put this together my game crashed about 6 or 8 times.
