Last time The Dashwood's moved to Queenstown, Catherine and Bilbo (negomimogen) got married and had Lewis. Freddie married his high school girlfriend Hope and they had Luke and Miguel. Darcy and Henry aged up into very smart looking adults and there was an accidental cliffhanger because my game crashed.
Here's a very well dressed Lewis. I suspect Catherine has dressed him, sweater vests aren't really something most boys go for.
He's a cutie but something about his face makes me think of a koala. Hopefully he grows into his nose later on.
Lewis's brand new neurotic tendencies are really kicking in. His first act of childhood was to make the beds and do the dishes. He does however find time to unwind in front of the easel.
This is Oscar, named for Oscar Wilde. I've been asking my sister for names and she seems to be on a literary kick. He is excitable and insane. Which is wonderful as I love insane sims. He looks a lot more like Catherine but with Bilbo's colouring. Very cute.
Lewis continues to vent his distress at the state of the house. His mother however is distracted by morning sickness and her daily slice of cake to pay much attention.
Bilbo however seems concerned at his son's stress levels and set about doing something to help as the painting clearly isn't enough.
Henry takes a break from writing his latest best-seller to play with his newest grandchild.
Oscar is perpetually happy whenever Henry is around. He's besotted with his granddad.
Catherine is having a hard time with this third pregnancy and often finds looking after Oscar difficult when she feels nauseous constantly.
While he often plays with Oscar, Henry can almost always be found at his desk. He's working on his fifth book. Since Jon moved away he's finally had time to spend working towards his lifetime goal of becoming a professional author.
Considering his pregnant mother is passed out on the floor it's not too surprising Lewis is slightly off-kilter.
Darcy, ever dedicated to her role as matriarch seems to be the glue that holds the household together, right down to dodgy plumbing.
Oscar happens to be a pretty grumpy toddler. He's always crying. Always. This picture is completely misleading.
This is more accurate.
Lewis is growing up to be a surprisingly suave kid. Despite his daily freak outs Lewis has attracted the attention of almost all the girls in his class and is already a three star celebrity. I'm not sure how but he seems to be glued to his phone.
Dickens makes me sad. His life bar is getting pretty full and rather than spending his days exploring outside and under furniture he sleeps all the time. It seems old age is catching up to poor old Dickens.
The cooking skills in the Dashwood family haven't improved much since the first generation.
Now...I need to explain this picture.
Henry has of late, developed a slightly worrying habit. He always seems to walk in on Bilbo's showers. I'm trying not to think too much on why this keeps happening but Bilbo has been getting more and more paranoid (as Bilbo does) and has begun to lock and barricade the doors with the laundry hamper when he's showering.
Bilbo's master plan for relaxing Lewis takes the form of video games. Lewis seems to pick up the idea fairly quickly, but he's always been a bright boy.
He even manages to beat Bilbo a few times.
Catherine meanwhile begging her now customary "OMG the baby's coming!" flail. I've never had a sim do this before.
No one was around to notice Catherine go into labour upstairs so she drove herself to hospital.
Welcoming Alice (Alice in Wonderland). Alice is the first girl of the third generation and is Excitable and Neurotic.
...
And Lorena (Also, Alice in Wonderland). Lorena is a Couch Potato and Loves The Outdoors and is so far the first of four children not to have any traits that suggest a slightly off-kilter mental state. Seriously, two neurotic kids and one insane child. It's going to be an intense generation.
Interestingly enough, Oscar is the only child to have an imaginary friend.
They stare into your soul.
Oscar adores "Boinky" and is only ever happy if Boinky is around.
Of course Oscar had to grow up at some point and here he is. Oscar rolled slob as his third trait.
The trademark Dashwood face of disdain has made a come back it seems.
I'll leave you there, I didn't expect to get another update out so fast but I'm a little nervous about playing my game right now because Dickens is literally knocking on death's door and I'm mentally gearing up for that if I can't get a young again potion thing for him. Consider that a head's up for the next update :(
