Beck winces as he jabs the needle into her arm. The expression on her face says it all, really: she's scared out of her right mind.
But she's not about to go down without a fight.
"Let me go!" One hand makes a beeline for Krauser's face. And Beck slaps him. As hard as she can. Hopefully the shcok of that will allow her to get her arm loose and run away.
Run? Okay! Beck is more than happy to run away! If only to find out what's become of Chris. With one last kick for good measure, she takes off.
"Chris!" She's heading down the stairs now, shouting at the top of her lungs. "Chris, where are you? Answer me! Please!" She stumbles a little; that sedative's kicking in pretty fast.
"Ch-Chris!" Whoops, another stumble! And the room's getting kinda spinny. Beck's slurring her words now, but she manages to reach the ground floor.
Wesker spun around and snatched Chris by the collar. Twisting the cloth in his hand, he jerked Chris forward and towards the direction of the basement
( ... )
"Wesker! WESKER!!!!", Chris shouts as Albert retreats, but his cries fall on deaf ears. Well, this was just great. He had managed to get Rebecca infected with the T-Virus, nearly get himself killed, and now here he was in some kind of god damned dungeon with some Umbrella freak in the cell across from him. Another stunning Redfield Rescue.
Once Albert is gone, Chris flicks on the flashlight. Thankfully, Wesker hadn't bothered searching him. Reaching into his jacket, Chris pulls out his trusty Air Force survival knife and gets to work looking around his cell for any way he may be able to exploit so he can make an escape. He's trying his best to not look into the other cell. Maybe if he pretended that thing wasn't over there, it wouldn't fuck with him.
The man in the other cell moved once the flashlight was turned on. Raising his arm, he tried to shield his eyes away from the blaring light.
"If you think you are going to escape that way, then you are highly mistaken." The chains rattled as the man shuffled. "Albert is a man of great detail; that knife will do you no good."
Suddenly, the man stopped and began sniffing the air softly. He turned once in the direction of Chris.
"That smell; it's familiar. She smelt of it," he moved and placed his clawed digits on the bars of his cell. "That Redfield woman. The woman with Sherry.."
Chris only grunts at the man and begins trying to pick the lock of the cell with his knife. Damn it! this would take him years. And then, the man mentions the name "Redfield". Chris's eyes look up from the lock, and he shines the light over to the other cell.
Chris complies. He clicks the flashlight off, then pulls his cigarettes and lighter from his jacket pocket and lights one up. The cherry of the flame illuminates only the bottom of Chris's jaw and his collar area. He leans on the bars, the knife still held in one hand.
The man lowered his hand, causing the chains to rattle again.
"Your sister and I crossed paths when I first arrived at the Nexus. I learned from Wesker that she was keeping Sherry with her, and that she had the G-Embryo left over from her father's attack on her."
The man shifted slightly.
"We had an agreement, and I did the procedure on Sherry to remove the embryo, however things..didn't go according to plan."
He began walking again but stopped when the chains ceased to offer roaming room.
"Spencer surfaced, and I had to resort to a cocktail. That is why I am down here. Albert..knows what can happen if anything is triggered."

The random kicks just glance off his knees.
"Which is better than the odds I give you."
He jabs the needle into her arm and depresses the plunger.

"Don't you hurt Chris! Leave him alone!"

"This should be interesting. Run. I should warn that this stuff makes you pretty drowsy."

"Time to see the sights of Atlanta, girly."
He picks her up and leaves to drop her off...

"You leave Claire out of this, you bastard! We made a deal!"
He glares at Wesker, still holding a hand to his injured sternum.
"I swear to you, when I get out of this cell...and I will get out...you're going to pay. for me, for Claire, and for S.T.A.R.S."

"Claire? What about her? And what about Sherry?"

"Lower the light and maybe I'll be incline to tell you." He flexed his claws and slipped towards the back of the cell.

"Okay. So let's talk. I'm Chris Redfield."
He takes a long drag from the cigarette.

"Chris Redfield, my name is William Birkin."

Chris takes a pull from the cigarette, exhaling the smoke out into the darkness.
"So you...you infected yourself with the T-Virus? And then let Wesker lock you down here?"
Chris is tapping the point of his knife against one of the bars while he thinks.
"Is there a way out of here?"
