I have nothing to do. It's driving me crazy. Most everyone I know lives in a mildly negative state where they are negative about everything at least to a degree, and I miss being a kid. Justin and are going off birth control on Friday. (I have to have my Mirena removed). I hope I can be a good mommy. I want kids. I don't want to live vicariously ( Read more... )

That was definitely one of my reasons for wanting a child...to get to do all the fun kiddie stuff again. There is a lot of responsibility forever and a lot of hard stuff at the beginning, but Benjamin is 20 months now and we get to do a lot of fun stuff...like playgrounds :)

I hope everything turns out the best possible way :D.

Ooh, also, start taking a prenatal vitamin like now...you want to make sure your folate level is good before you get pregnant because it makes you much less likely to have a babe with neural tube defects, and that is something that happens in the early weeks.

How did you like the Mirena?

The Mirena was great, actually. When we're done makin behbehs I'll probably go back on it. (Thank you Navy, for it being free!) I only had a couple witchy fests of moodiness, and they were both in the first two months after having it put in, which is normal for the Mirena. Don't plan to go for any big walks/jogs/kayaking adventures the day you have it put in; you'll have some cramps. Getting it taken out, though, I only cramped for about thirty seconds, and then it was over.
