Awww crap about your Mom.

Hmm, I'll have to give some thought to bringing them all to a watering hole some Monday or Friday. Not that I'm a particularly good swim instructor, but maybe I could pass something along to them.

Sooooo... Pennsic dates! The Mondays and Fridays I will be out of town and thus unable to watch the littles are: Mon July 28, Fri Aug 1, Mon Aug 4 and Fri Aug 8.

That would be great, they would love it. We got them swimmies this past weekend (the little inflatable floater arm band thingers). I wasn't sure about them at first, you know thinking about if it's going to instill false confidence and make it so they don't learn and all... But they worked out really well, giving them enough of a boost to their confidence to allow them to learn to kick and paddle and stuff. They has such a blast.

Whenever Jeff talked about picking up swimmies for them all, I could think about were the swimmy diapers so I was all like, why? they don't need those anymore! Then he started calling them floaters and that of course made me think that if we were worried about floaters maybe we should go back to swimmies... That made me crack up for no apparent reason. So then I had to try to explain what I was thinking, now Jeff just thinks I'm nuts. But that's nothing new either.

I never responded to this? Sheesh!

Well, I just wanted to say your second paragraph really cracked me up. :) When I was little, we called them "muscles". Now I know them as "floaties" ("floaters" are something entirely different, LOL).

Yeah everything I've read says that too, I just worry about how it might be exacerbated by her fibromyalsia and stuff. Maybe it's just that she's my mom and I worry.

Sorry to hear about your mom! Hope she is feeling better soon. The antibiotics do make you feel nauseous. The current medical opinion (for what it is worth) is that the twenty-odd day course of antibiotics completely resolves Lyme. That certainly seemed to be the case with the Buttercup, who had it last year. Any chance you might make a trip north this summer? We've got the pool . . .

Thanks, she is on a 3 week course so hopefully it will resolve it. We are hoping it was caught early enough, that seems to be the key to kicking it.

We would love to come visit, we're pretty booked through the middle of August though, how do these summer weekends fill up so fast?! What's your schedule like?
