Life as a Run Away Train

Wow- there's an awful lot going on. I seem to feel that way a lot of the time.

Turns out my Mom has Lyme's Disease. This so totally blows. My poor Mom, she has had so much to deal with, adding this to all that is just wrong. It seems that it's early stages so hopefully any long term issues will be minimal to non existent. I hope. She is rather fragile physically tho, so I am worried for her. I am taking a couple days off from work to maybe drive her to her doctors in Northampton and so she won't have to watch my kids for her normal two days this week. She really needs to get a primary care person in this area.

We came back from our mini vacation weekend to this news. I went over to her place last night to clean for her because she has a showing of her condo today. I really hope she gets an offer soon, we can't go much lower in price and still be able to do the Camelot house. Just a little stress right there...

Storyland was much fun, aside from some stupid driving logistics we had a very lovely time. Highlights include the Bamboo Shoot (which we got a picture of) and the little circus show, performing housecats- who knew?

My kids are 5 and 6 (Happy Birthday Chris! 7/10) and they don't know how to swim. We just don't have many opportunities to find a swim place. Swim holes around here are way too crowded on the weekends and we can't take them during the week. I used to swim everyday in the summer, I didn't realize how much I missed it. We spent lots of time in the pool at the hotel this weekend, it was really nice. Sadly on the last day Chris stubbed his toe on his way into the pool area and refused to swim after that because it hurt. Poor guy.

Well, that was the last three days in a nutshell, hope everyone is well!
