You know... I had to really think about it, and I came to the conclusion that I have, in my life, drawn exactly 2 pictures of mechs, both copied exactly from reference (a Veritech fighter from Macross, and the Knight of Gold from the Five Star Stories) waaaaay back in highschool. That's it. I'm not exactly big on drawing non-organic things.

More iPad doodles! It's my new favorite commute buddy. ^_^ And after much mashing and scrubbing, my Pogo stylus is being much better behaved (I think it just comes with some sort of thin coating on it, after you scrub it around a bit it works a lot better.) Yay!

The Sketchbook Project is really neat sounding. Yes, you have to pay to participate, but honestly? It's not that much. And it's a really cool project. $25 for "here, have a free sketchbook" and "oh yeah, we'll archive that sketchbook in the Brooklyn Art Library when you're done, and did we mention we'll take it on tour around the nation?".
