Today is my 9 year bday- 9 years of sobriety and I'm damn grateful for each and every day.

Had a pretty boring weekend with the rain and all.  I was so stir crazy by yesterday that I took the dog for a hike in the rain.  It was good but got eaten up by the freaking mosquitoes.  Bastards.  Anthony went out Saturday night and had a very nice time it seems.  I made the aforementioned yogurt which turned out... eh.  This is my second attempt ( Read more... )

Ok, the container garden I planted two weeks ago is getting drowned by this shitty weather.  I was so proud of it too.  It was actually growing as opposed to everything else I attempt.  I planted Basil, thyme, sage, oregano and two kinds of tomatoes (heirloom and a normal variety).  Surprisingly enough the heirloom tomato is thriving.

You know the feeling when you realize that your concentration has become horribly fragmented?  Ah yes, the feeling of temporary insanity when the focus is on tasks/issues that shouldn't be a priority.  It feels good for awhile but then anxiety kicks in when you realize that certain areas in your life are sliding.
