I'm looking at a criagslist craigslist job ad (for a technical writer position) that enumerates a variety of writing, editing, and proofreading tasks the selectee will perform -- and the ad is so laden with what I would consider really embarrassing spelling mistakes that I sort of wonder if it's a test.  If I write in with my resume, contact ( Read more... )

I'm not sure if I would put that in your cover letter. It might be something to bring up in an interview, though. I would only bring it up in the interview if it seems like they would take the critique in good humor, and not take offense.

No, see, there are going to be changes, and you would get to affect which way things change ... right? (Personally, I tend toward 'for the better', but that's just me.)

I once had to "review" the homepage of a website, and I seriously didn't know what they wanted to hear ... and I found a typo on an offshoot of an offshoot link, but it wasn't on the homepage ... argh. I really fucking hate fucking jobhunting.
