Oh, poor Damian! He's so miserable and sad. I just want to squish him, even if it won't be much better than tea and sympathy for him.

Great job at making us connect with the character in such a short piece. You really drove home the emotions (despair, envy, longing) and gave us further insight into this character. Well done!
