I can't say I liked Kevin J Anderson that much, something about his attitude irritated me

OH GOD YES. I will have more on this when I finally write up my D*C post...but yeah. He was very irritating and when I won one of his books in a panel raffle, I didn't stay to get it signed. :P

Glad I'm not the only one to think that and I don't blame you for not waiting :D

Zahn was talking about how the novels featuring characters from the movies did better than those focusing on original characters, so it wasn't likely that we'd see stories set in the very distant future. Anderson joined in, saying his Tales of the Jedi comics were the best selling Star Wars comics and featured none of the known characters.

And then he tried to take credit for coming up with the concept of the NJO. It was hard not to laugh when Stackpole slapped him down, saying whatever meetings Anderson had had about a long running storyline were forgotten because the NJO was suggested by Del Ray when they took over publishing :D

Looking forward to your write up so I can read about stuff I missed :)

Glad I missed that monday panel. Zahn and Stackpole were great though, always enjoyed their books and so it was good to see them in person.

By the way, I showed your costume to one of my friends that worked on the game, she was impressed someone had put so much effort into something Dragonage related. Usually Mass Effect gets all the costume attention.
