Sunday was the final day and began with a two hour queue outside the Walk of Fame to meet Summer Glau.
Fortunately that meant I was fourth in line, so it was worth the wait. At one point, Edward James Olmost emerged from the room, said good morning to those in line before going off for breakfast.
To give an impression of how many people wanted to meet her, a seperate line was formed that ended up having to be split into three sections, the first was infront of her table (once the doors were opened), the next was outside the doors and finally there were more people waiting downstairs. I don't know how long they had to wait, I was just glad to be near the front.
Unfortunately I didn't get to talk to Summer for long, they wanted people to go through as quickly as possible. Understandable really.
After meeting her, I went around to have a chat with Claudia Christian again. She's fun and this time I had my tribble on my shoulder, which gave us some amusement when I couldn't find the switch to turn it off.
Making the most of Summer while I can.
After the tribble was finally made silent.
In the afternoon there was a panel with five Star Wars authors. Timothy Zahn, Michael A. Stackpole, Kevin J Anderson, Rebecca Moesta and A C Crispen. I can't say I liked Kevin J Anderson that much, something about his attitude irritated me and I've not read Crispen's books.
Zahn and Stackpole were great though, brought back lots of memories of reading their books and I did ask how they'd feel if their work was adapted into an animated series like the Clone Wars (of course they all said it would be great, especially when the credits said "Based on the novel by...". Someone else asked what I was originally going to ask, how they felt when new material like the prequels broke their storylines.
After the panel, ran into
barbiejedi again, who had been in there too.

When Mass Effect and Dragonage meet.
There wasn't really enough time to do much else so, sat for awhile and admired various costumes. I did see someone dressed as Jack from Mass Effect 2 but she disappeared into the crowds before I could get a picture :(
And finally the time came to head back to the airport and home. But the whole trip was alot of fun and next year should be as well.
