*hugs* Accepting is hard....even after all these years, and so many outright bad times, I still hurt from being rejected by my stepbrother sineater & his wife skye_ds and I still wish we had a relationship... :(....which the smart brain part of me knows is stupid as hell, but the heart is a slow and stubborn thing, it holds on for longer than is good for it.

And in your situation, w here you didn't even know anything was wrong to try and fix...people just shutting you out for no reason, not responding to requests on FB or offers of help to your dad....well, what the hell are you supposed to do when the other side isn't communicating at aLL about what kind of relationship they would or would not like, or what you did wrong, or ANYTHING. That sucks so much.
