i honestly think that if you love him and he loves you, you can take off and things will be ok. if you want to permenantly move, and you can't take it in london anymore, and he's not willing to go with you, you can't stay someplace just to make HIM happy. the one thing i've learned in life is that you have to do for YOURSELF and NEVER make decisions for someone else's sake. if you do that, you'll never be happy even WITH dave.

if you want to be free, go. if he can't handle it, doesn't like it or causes you grief, you might want to reevaluate why you love someone who's content in stiffling your dreams.

(sorry for being so morbid about this, but i hate seeing women so torn over their hopes and dreams and any man they may have in their life).

I agree with your friend above my post: you have to do what makes you happy. I would never stay anywhere unless I was remotely happy myself being there. Nothing worse than that.

As for life and the long-haul, you will figure it out. Small pieces of the puzzle will start to fit together. Life wouldn't be much fun if it were just handed to you.
