This has got to be one of the saddest, most gut-wrenchingly sad songs in the whole universe... so beautiful, too.

horoscopes, friends, sadness, reflection, stress, music, songs, panic attacks, changes, relationships

I'm a fan of both Don MacLean and Van Gogh. *thumbs up*

It's so weird, because the first time I heard that song, I TOTALLY didn't clue in to the whole Van Gogh connection. COMPLETE AND UTTER DUH.

Congrats on the promotion, and glad you've had some close moments with friends. Those moments are all too sparse sometimes. Sounds like it's been a good week for you!

I saw my very first shooting star while watching Don McLean perform Starry Starry night at the park the other night. it was a pretty wonderful moment. Love that song.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!! I knew you were going to get the job. Witness Lin ROCKING!!!

I know you are scared. Totally justified. I was terrified yesterday too - I had to come clean with Jeff and tell him how unhappy I am with our situation. We essentially broke up and when I came home from work he'd changed his myspace profile so that all his pictures were frowns, his song was an extremely angry metal song, and said he'd like to meet "People who believe in me." I had been obsessing and worrying about it all night at work so at one point I called him back to say, "Let's not make any rash decisions yet, I'm not saying IT'S OVER, we can try and figure something out." But that's really because I was feeling extraordinarily guilty and just want him to know he has a place to stay until he figures out what he's doing, since he literally has nowhere to go and no money...

oh lord.

Sweetie... I'm so sorry. I just read your journal as well. Even though you're going through the hard part now... you're a strong lady and you know that things can only get better. Always look ahead, never regret...
