First off, I'd like to express my thanks to everyone who sent positive thoughts/vibes--you guys rock and all your support really helped me during the procedure! *giant, grateful hugs to all

*cwtches* It is good that so many people are taking an interest in your case but I can imagine it is unnerving at the same time. Hopefully it will not take too much longer in determining everything. You know where we are if you need to share your thoughts :)
*nods* agreed. Been very lucky so far, considering i haven't had to pay for anything. Indigent care services paid the first biopsy. When the doc wanted the second and i told him it would have to wait at least a month for Disability to pay for it, he immediately offered to do it at no charge. *sighs* at least its being seen to. :D

No offence taken what so ever :) I don't get offended by much, unless someone is being directly rude to me, or I'm told my place is in the kitchen, lol! The doctor (NP? Not sure what that stands for) and the beads, that is just brilliant XD, thats a real shame him not being your type, though you'd have the medic/patient issue there, for now. Wow to them doing this for free, thats really great. Good to see that you have a few things to keep you occupied. You didn't say anything about writing, are you struggling to get your mind into that?
Ugh, i cannot imagine how awful being told that must be! :( cant stand the kind of ppl who treat women(or anyone else, either) like that. Growing up in southern US, i've seen a lot of that tripe(chauvenism, as well as racism), and am usually incensed by it. Religiously, i believe that all women are a part of the Goddess, and should be respected and treated as such. However, i see nothing wrong with consenting adults doing as they wish, as long as it brings no harm to anyone else. And...i'm rambling there, sorry. ^.^ Nurse Practitioner. Means he has almost the same training as a doctor, but he chooses to be a nurse. As my dad put it, doctors deal with illnesses, nurses care for the patient. Yeah, i am having a bit of a down spell, cannot seem to get into my writing. :( My mind feels kind of numb, at the moment. I hate doing this to everyone who has been waiting so patiently, but it may well be a while before i can bring myself to post the first chapter. :(
I hope you will soon have a final diagnosis, since not knowing (especially with so many doctors involved) must be most unsettling, and that it won't be bleak!
*hugs* I think of you and keep my fingers crossed!
Yeah, I remember the tons of paperwork you had to go through and all the other bureaucratic craziness while you face off with the ominous US health system *facepalm*
