I am actually reading Twilight. I am so ashamed.

And more ashamed, perhaps, that I don't find it entirely detestable. I saw the movie and liked it more than I thought I would. (Admittedly, I expected it to be awful. So any tiny moment of semi-decentness stood out like a shiny little beacon.) But now I'm reading the book. Or, rather, the sequel

*cracks UP* That's about what I've heard from other people who read the series, actually. Overall, it's pretty good--especially if you like angst--and the real squick problem is the abusive-relationship-but-it's-okay-he-loves-me-stalking-is-also-normal that's the problem. And they're highly addictive.

Surprisingly, the abusive relationship thing actually gets a lot better. That or I've become desensitized. (Though a second character turns out to even more clueless than Edward. *eyerolls* He actually threatens to get himself killed unless the main girl lets him kiss her.) And yeah, very highly addictive. >.>

Do not under estimate the appeal of blue toilet water. It makes every bathroom trip an adventure!
