Cheers and Jeers

I just adore smart, funny, liberal men. From the Stephen Colbert article in Wikipedia:
Colbert was an avid fantasy RPG player as an adolescent, a pastime to which he partly attributes his interest in acting. He was known to be an enthusiast of the fantasy game Dungeons & Dragons. He is also a Lord of the Rings fanatic. When Viggo Mortensen appeared ( Read more... )

That was one of the cutest TDS interviews EVER. I had to download it just for that.

Also because of Viggo and the fake bugs he puts in his water. I love Jon's reaction. "I've never seen anyone this handsome go that lowbrow"

That was genius. And the way Jon actually fell for it at first, and thought someone had done it to him, and was really apologetic and freaked? OMG. <3 And then Viggo kept pulling them out and suddenly he caught on. Best thing ever.

One day, Sean Bean will be on TDS, and my life will be complete.

I could BE Steven Colbert. Well, except for the vast knowledge of political information. And the completely dry, deadpan delivery. And the fact that he's way skinnier than I am. Oh, and the fact that he's got his own television show. Bastard.

But I was a gamer while I was growing up!

The Democrats are just pissing me off SO MUCH right now. You'd think that 2004 would have taught them that PANDERING DOESN'T WORK. They need to differentiate themselves from the Republicans more than ever, or they're just going to continue to flounder. ARGH.

And they need to unify. If there's one thing the Republicans are good at, it's the propoganda machine.

There's just. SO MUCH ARGH. I want to kick the Democrats in the ass, because SERIOUSLY. The 'moderate' approach didn't work for Kerry, and it's not going to work in 2008. Christ almighty.

We need a new party, is what we need. It's enough to re-kindle my political ambitions, almost.
