My favorite spring flowers. I know all the places they grow around my neighborhood. The best patch is in a tiny historical cemetery down the street. Common names for these little guys ( flower heads are just about a 1/2" across and they stand about 2-3" tall ) are Bluets and Quaker Ladies.

If you would enjoy a place where you can stare at trees all day, I highly recommend Arnold Arboretum. I enjoyed it immensely. A repeat trip is needed because the arboretum is gigantic and I missed a few things that I really wanted to see. Like the hundred year old sassafras ( they are one of my favorite native trees ) and the bonsai trees.
